LV Cable End Covers
Known as Marble Bags or Socks, they are designed as pouches or pockets to slip over cable ends, lugs etc. We have now invested in PVC welding technology to provide a fully water tight and hence electrical insulation grade pouch. Both edges are welded, leaving the fold at the top of the bag, preventing tearing of the material as it is 'pulled over' terminations.A hole for cable ties is located near the base of the bag.
Designed as an alternative to shrink wrap or other methods of isolating or insulating live or exposed terminations. They can be used as temporary or long term insulation.
Each bag is marked and rated for use up to 650 volts. Three main sizes as outlined below, custom units can be had to order - minimum quantity orders apply.
