Every year, one of the NSW electricity Distributors hosts an exhibition for suppliers and industry, promoting safety and fostering ties between suppliers and network staff.

This is an important event on our calender as it provides a great opportunity to liase with end users and field staff who give valuable feedback on products. Energy Australia was the host for the 2010 Field Day which was held at Sydney Olympic Park. A good turn out from all the regular suppliers, promoting new products and safety initiatives. There was also a good turn out of field staff with many representing Energy Australia, Intergal Energy, Country Energy, ACTEWAGL, Rail Corp, Energex, Ergon, Horizon Power, Powercor and more. Balmoral's stand proved popular with Linesman and field staff in general, especially the Putt Putt competition! This year, thanks to Integral Energy, we demonstrated our new Substation LV Mat Kit, with a complete substation panel on loan from Integral. We also showcased our new range of LV rubbers and blankets, as well as all the usual Tiger Tails and PVC Line covers. We also had on show our miscellaneous range of products including plastic pegs or clips for securing Line blankets, Polywater cleaning agent, as well as a new flexible split tube conduit that can be cut to size to insulate those difficult to cover tails and bonds.
