Balmoral specialise in a suite of live voltage insulating mats, blankets, covers, drapes, pockets and pipe.

We stock standard ranges of live voltage insulating materials as well as custom designing and manufacturing to individual requirements and applications. Some of our range includes:

  • Electrical Insulating Pipe - Our Tiger Tails come in a range of sizes from 1.25m to 2.5m long, in both yellow and black as well as red and black, with various size diameters from 35mm to 70mm.

  • Electrical Insulating Mats - We now supply a range of ground mats or switchboard stand on matting. Utilising a high grade black EPDM rubber, these mats are relatively light-weight, non-slip, easy to clean and are practically impervious to UV and ozone. We sell a range of sizes with various voltage ratings and can again provide custom sizes for your individual requirements.
  • Electrical Insulating Blankets/Covers - Designed for live voltage use to either drape over power lines or wrap up live conductors, these come in our trademark safety dual layer material. This allows for easier visualisation of split or cracked material because of the contrasting colours. They come in a range of sizes and materials including PVC and EPDM rubber and have a suite of fastening options such as stud, velcro, magnetic eyelet and more.

If you require more information on our range of products, please do not hesitate to call or email.
