Balmoral's range of LV Line Covers provide a quality, easy to use and safe product designed for draping over low voltage power lines to insulate during live line work by contractors and network operators.

The LV Line Covers come in two ranges, PVC and Rubber:

  • The PVC Line Covers are time tested and proven as a quality and reliable product with over 10 years in the field. They are a 2mm yellow/grey dual layer PVC material. It is this unique feature of contrasting colours that provides an invaluable safety net allowing easy visualisation of any scratches or tears in the material. The PVC is UV stabilised and includes plasticisers to provide a flexible long lasting and weathering material for all Australian climates. The PVC is extremely durable having tough physical properties especially in tear and puncture resistance. This allows the material to be free of fabric reinforcement, which itself can become conductive when wet. Our PVC LV Line Covers come in a range of fasteners including cost effective stud, easy to use press stud and the premium magnetic option.
  • The Rubber Line Covers provide a slightly more flexible product that is extremely weather resistance. Made from a high quality EPDM rubber, this material has a much wider operating temperature than PVC. The EPDM Line Covers are available in a Velcro fastening option. The EPDM is a 2mm thick product and is also uniquely dual layered with contrasting yellow/blue colours. Both these covers comply with the low voltage Australian Standard AS-4202 as a class II cover. This rates the cover for use up to 650 volts.
