Produced in conjunction with Integral Energy, it is designed to further the insulation barrier in damaged street light columns.
The sheet is made from a clear Polycarbonate film. The size and type of material provide the best balance enabling the sheet to be pushed past the internal infrastructure on most street light columns. The sheet forms a cylinder around the inner circumference of the column providing an added insulation barrier for those poles vulnerable to vandalism or that have been damaged over time or through severe weather. Once the sheet has been installed, the flaps sticking out of the hatch can be folded around the back of the pole and out of the way while the column undergoes routine maintenance. A Velcro strap fastens the folded flaps behind the column. Once finished, the flaps can then be tucked back inside the hatch to form a complete cone or cylinder around the inside of the column until next time. The polycarbonate material has been electrically tested, is extremely durable and has a broad operating temperature. Sold in a pack of 10 sheets, our P/No INS-XL-KIT.
