Balmoral Engineering after much R&D have now released a new electrical insulating blanket designed to be used to wrap up low voltage conductors.

This material is a 2mm red light weight EPDM rubber. It has been designed around the following principles: It has excellent temperature stability rated up to 125 degrees celsius. It also has good cold weather performance, specifically, it will not easily loose it's flexibility in colder climates. The rubber itself has been formulated around a highly flexible specification. As a complimentary addition to our standard PVC cover range. The PVC is better suited to draping and covering conductors and power lines, where as the EPDM rubber with it's extra flexibility and low memory effect is better suited to wrapping different shaped objects. The rubber has good mechanical and electrical properties and complies with AS4202.
